Training That Leads to Work

Eventcover Education is an SIA-approved training provider based at Block A, NEC, Birmingham. We deliver Door Supervisor, Spectator Safety, CCTV and Refresher qualifications — most of them fully funded through our partnership with Heart of Worcestershire College.

What makes us different is simple: we don’t just train people and send them on their way. Our partner company, Progress Staffing Solutions, employs the people we train. That means our learners aren’t just getting a qualification — they’re getting a genuine route into paid work in the security and events industry.

We are the only company in the West Midlands that trains and recruits all its own staff. No agencies, no job boards — just direct employment for the people we’ve trained ourselves.

Our Credentials

Our management team has over 50 years of combined experience in the security industry. We hold qualifications in Crowd Management, Spectator Safety Management, Close Protection, Education, and Health & Safety — and we own and licence the McCormack Physical Intervention System, an SIA-approved system based on the martial art Taiho Jutsu.

All training is delivered by experienced, qualified instructors who work in the industry themselves. Our learners are taught by people who do the job, not just talk about it.

Our Training Venue

All courses run from our dedicated training centre at Block A, NEC, Birmingham (B40 1PJ). The NEC is one of the UK’s busiest event venues — so our learners train in the same environment they’ll be working in.

Funded by

Our funded courses are delivered in partnership with Heart of Worcestershire College. If you’re aged 19+ and earning under £35,000 per year, you may be eligible for fully funded training — including a free SIA licence.
